If you’ve been following the Zero Food Waste Office Challenge, this snack is very to assemble, you practically have everything ready made for you, you just need to chop it or scoop it into a pot. This post links in with a weeklong Zero Waste food challenge, it is prepared on SUNDAY and eaten when you wish during the week.
If you haven’t already made the hummus or wraps, you can follow both recipes and come back to this snack. both recipes have storage guidelines, and suggestions as to how you can use the surplus up in other recipes
Also, is it hummus or houmous?
I’ve found no definitive answer whilst surfing the net, so the jury is out. Let me know you’re preferred pronunciation…
Hummus Dip and 'Crisps'
-Kitchen scissors or a chopping board and knife
-Air tight box
-1 pre made wrap (don’t worry if it’s starting to go a little stale, that's actually a good thing for this snack!)
1. Chop your wrap into triangles or squares using scissors or a knife. Add these to an air tight box
2. Take ‘crisps’ and dip to work with you
3. Optional: If you have any raw vegetables such as carrots, cucumber or cherry tomatoes, these work very well too!
